Days shorter, leaves change colour what could it be? Autumn.
In Autumn the days get shorter because the earth moves away from the sun. So that in summer the days get longer. Also in Autumn the nights get longer. That is why people in New Zealand put their clocks 1 hour back.
When autumn comes the leaves change colour. Because on desiduous trees the leaves change colour. Also evergreens are the trees that the leaves stay green on.
